Cavalieri LAZARIDI refers to the title of Cavaliere that has been awarded to Nico Lazaridi’s family members, in recognition of their contribution to the Italian Republic.
Our latest creation is an single varietal wine from Merlot coming from selected low yield vine-plots of our own vineyards at the local communities of Agora and Pigadia in Drama region.

Production Area: From selected low yield vineyards in northern Greece- Macedonia, at the local communities of Agora and Pigadia.
Vinification : Classic red vinification with a long extraction combined with micro-oxygenation. The wine ages for 12 months in oak barrels.

Total Acidity: 6.9 g/l
Residual Sugar: 2.10 g/l
Tasting Notes: Deep purple colour and intense aromas of red berries, cedar and nuts with hints of herbs. Charming body with balanced acidity and soft tannins. Its finish is long and complex.
Aging: Will respond well to aging for up to 6-8 years after harvest.
Perfect Pairing: Serve it at 16-18 ° C. An excellent match for aged cheeses, grilled meat, red meat and game cooked dishes with complex sauces.
