Nico Lazaridi presents a brand new wine from the Greek variety Malagousia, part to the Cavalieri range

Continuous research, testing and vinification: the search for the best never stops at NICO LAZARIDI! A new wine comes to complete the range of products of the winery, which counts 35 years of history and contribution to Greek wine.

NICO LAZARIDI’s goal was to create a series of single-distillery wine products, following the successful path of Cavalieri Assyrtiko, which in recent years perfectly expresses the typicality of this particular variety in mainland Greece. Cavalieri will now highlight the character of specific varieties. The beginning is with MALAGOUSIA Cavalieri, the new member of the Cavalieri family.

Type of wine: Dry White Wine.

Appellation: Protected Geographical Indication Macedonia.

Varieties: Malagousia 100%

Vinification Method: The alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, at low temperatures and the contact with the fine lees, results in a wine having a pleasant aromatic complexity.

Alcohol: 11.5%
Total Acidity: 5.4 g/l
Residual Sugar: 1.7 g/l

Tasting Notes: Pale lemon colour. Intense nose with floral and herbal notes, harmoniously linked with aromas of stone fruits and citrus fruits. Medium body with pleasant acidity and a long aromatic aftertaste.

Aging: Will respond to aging for up to 4-5 years after harvest.

Perfect Pairing: Served chilled at 10-13ΟC. it can be combined with a wide range of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, with seafood dishes and oily fish. Also with roast poultry, pasta, risotto, creamy sauces, green salads and vegetables.
