Château Νico Lazaridi Winery
At the winery Château Νico Lazaridi in Agora, Drama, visitors have the possibility to walk around the vineyards and learn about the vinification procedure. Starting from the area where the grapes are collected and the vinification starts, ending our tour to the underground cellars where our wines age. Visitors have the chance to visit the «Magic Mountain» art gallery, as well as to admire the view from the winery’s tower.
A visit at the winery can be combined with various activities and excursions to the Prefecture of Drama, a region with rich natural attractions, history and traditions. Visitors have the chance to wander around unique spruce forests, caves and canyons, to enjoy mountain hiking and climbing, to visit byzantine and post byzantine monasteries and churches, archaeological sites and local museums; to attend traditional folk events and to take part in local festivals.

- The tour takes place in the following areas: vineyards, production area, Bottling area, underground cellar, Art gallery “Magic Mountain”.
Wine tasting: the wine tasting includes three wines (white, rose and red). In case visitors wish to taste more wines they can arrange it in advance with the winery, with the additional cost.
- For purchases more than 20€, a discount of 5€ is given.

The Mackedon Winery at Platanotopos, Kavala, will be the next tour’s stopover: it involves a short sightseeing tour at the vineyards and the areas of production, bottling and ageing of the wine.
Visitors can admire the Efthimios Varlamis’ collection of art and discover our wines in the spacious wine-tasting room.
Enjoy Pangeon and Symvolo mountains, river Strymonas with its fertile delta and the renowned beaches of the area. Travel to mountainous, hospitable villages, taste local delicacies and swim at the numerous beaches of the region.
It would be a great opportunity to combine the visit to the winery with various activities and excursions to the Prefecture of Kavala and the neighboring Prefecture of Serres, both distinguished for their biodiversity and natural beauty.
